The Moon of Gomrath is the second part of the trilogy which Alan Garner has recently concluded with [[ASIN:B007H3GOQM Boneland]]. It's a perfect transition between the two outer novels, moving into altogether darker territories from [[ASIN:015205636X The Weirdstone of Brisingamen: A Tale of Alderley]], paving the way for the cosmic struggle for resolution of the final book.
I read The Moon of Gomrath when it first came out, and I was 9 or 10. It was the first fantasy novel I had ever read and I really enjoyed it.
"The Moon of Gomrath" is another great fantastical tale - perfect for young teens and adults alike! I agree with one of the other reviewers that the only problem with this series is that there are only 2 books in it - as I would glady devour several more!
